Student Research Exhibition: "Ukrainian Art as Protest and Resilience"

-

Location: The Forum, First Floor (View on map )

As the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine nears, the Nanovic Institute for European Studies invites Notre Dame community members to attend the opening of an exhibition on art, protest, and resilience in Ukraine. Over the recent winter break, eleven undergraduate students researched various mediums of public art and their role in Ukraine’s fight for independence. Their research has culminated in this exhibition, which will sample the students’ chosen works that range from Ukrainian fashion to children’s art. The exhibition will take the form of a physical display in the Nanovic Hall Forum (until spring break) and an analytical, digital exhibition that will be available on the Nanovic Institute website.
