On September 7th, Duncan Hall hosted the Fourth Annual Notre Dame 110, a stair climb that memorializes, honors, and supports our nation’s and our community’s first responders. All participants replicated the climb faced by the first responders on September 11, 2001, by climbing 110 flights of stairs in Notre Dame’s Football Stadium. All funds raised are donated to HEART 9/11, a disaster relief organization founded by first responders who led the World Trade Center recovery and rebuilding efforts. The organization, now over 400 experts strong, has successfully responded to over 30 major natural disasters since 2007.
We are proud to say that this year’s Notre Dame 110 was the most successful yet, both in terms of participants and donations. We would like to thank everyone involved in making this special event so outstanding.
